AceHack 5.0 is a 36-hour hackathon where students and innovators create real-world tech solutions. It's a platform to learn, build, network, and compete for amazing prizes while working on projects that matter.

AceHack 5.0 is open to all students currently enrolled in any educational institution across India. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced developer, everyone is welcome!
Click the "Register Now" button on our homepage and fill out the registration form with your details. You'll receive a confirmation email once your registration is complete.
No! AceHack 5.0 is completely free to participate in. We believe in making innovation accessible to everyone.
You can participate either individually or in teams of up to 4 members. We recommend forming teams to enhance collaboration and learning!
When we reach maximum capacity the registrations will be closed. We recommend registering early to secure your spot!
Yes, team changes are allowed up to March 1st 2026. Please contact us at discord and raise a ticket for modifications.
Bring your laptop, chargers, student ID, and enthusiasm! We'll provide food, drinks, WiFi, and workspace. We will provide accomodation. Hacker Guide will be shared soon.
Yes! We'll provide all meals, snacks, and refreshments throughout the 36-hour event. Accommodation arrangements will be shared closer to the event date.
We have 8 tracks: Blockchain & Crypto, Web & App Dev, IOT, AR & VR, Game Dev, Data & Gen AI, Cloud & DevOps, Cyber Security and Open Innovation. Choose the track that aligns with your project idea!
Absolutely! We have 20+ mentors from various tech domains who will be available throughout the hackathon to guide you, answer questions, and help debug your projects.
Yes! We'll have workshops, tech talks, and sessions by industry experts throughout the event. Schedule will be shared with registered participants.
You're free to use any programming languages, frameworks, APIs, or platforms you prefer. Choose what works best for your project idea!
No, all code must be written during the 36-hour event period. However, you can come with an idea, research, and design mockups prepared beforehand.
While a working prototype is preferred, we also value innovative ideas and solid execution plans. Focus on demonstrating your concept effectively!
Yes! High-speed WiFi and charging stations will be available throughout the venue. We'll ensure you have all the infrastructure needed to build great projects. Due to the venue size and number of participants, we recommend bringing your own power bank and personal hotspot as a backup.
Yes! You're encouraged to use open-source libraries, APIs, and frameworks. Just make sure to properly attribute any third-party code you use.
The total prize pool will be revealed soon! This includes prizes for top 3 teams, best beginner team, and all-girls team categories.
Projects will be evaluated based on innovation, technical complexity, design & usability, real-world impact, and presentation quality by our expert panel of judges.
Winners will be announced during the closing ceremony on March 8, 2026. All participants must be present for the final presentations and ceremony.
Yes! All participants will receive a certificate of participation. Winners and special category awardees will receive additional recognition certificates.
Yes! Our sponsors may offer additional prizes and special tracks. Details will be announced to registered participants before the event.
Perfect! AceHack 5.0 welcomes beginners. We have a special "Best Beginner" category and mentors dedicated to helping first-timers. It's a great place to learn!

Don't worry! We have a team formation group in our discord server where you can meet other participants and form teams based on interests and skills.
Absolutely! Hardware projects are welcome, especially in the IoT track. Please bring your own hardware components as. We will try to fulfill any other requirements as available.
There is no stage presentation in Acehack, Judges will visit your alloted room during presentation. Each team will have 3 minutes to present their project followed by 2 minutes of Q&A with judges. Make your demo impactful and concise!
Yes! AceHack 5.0 is open to students from across India. We encourage diversity and welcome participants from all regions.
